Genesis 12:1-9 “Abram’s Call”

Sermon preached by Pastor Joshua Hall at Sparta Reformed Presbyterian Church on November 25, 2018.

Introduction

What would you do for a million dollars? If someone offered you a million dollars to hike up Mount Everest, would you do it? What if you were halfway up the mountain, facing frostbite and possible death, and completely forgot about the million dollars awaiting you at the top? Would you go on? Probably not. The only way to do hard things is by focusing on the reward. Abram was asked to do something very difficult, but he was promised a great reward. Let us read about it in Genesis 12:1-9.
